A campground near trout fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. RV fit varies by site.
Bagby Campground & Recreation Area in Mariposa, California, is the most remote and rustic campground on Lake McClure, offering a truly unplugged escape where the narrowing lake meets the Merced River. Reached by a scenic, winding drive through rugged canyons and with little to no cell service, Bagby is ideal for campers seeking quiet, solitude, and a deep connection to nature.
Length limits vary by campsite.

“The camp sites are expensive for what you get. The bathrooms were constantly out of toilet paper and wrecked from other guests. The rule of being quite 11pm-7am did not apply.”
“It is a very nice campground. It is well taken care of and we had an enjoyable stay. We were the only campers there our first night…it was kind of strange at first but it ended up being very peaceful!”
